Premium Spray Products

PremiCote FG is a plasticizer free 100% acrylic, single component, water based, high performance flashing grade elastomeric coating for brush, or roller application.

Recommended Uses:

This product is intended for use as a flashing material for most substrates and sealer for fasteners and seams in metal roofing applications. It has excellent adhesion to many substrates including polyurethane foam, concrete, masonry, PVC, metal and primed wood Contact Premium Spray Products for specific application information.

Product Limitations: 

This mastic is water-based and requires evaporation of the water in order to cure. Low temperatures and high humidity will slow this process. Do not apply this material if there is any moisture on the substrate or there is any risk of precipitation or heavy dew before the material is completely cured. Material is not intended for ponded water applications. Applications where there is a risk of vapor drive, such as cold storage and refrigerated tank applications should only be made in conjunction with a suitable vapor barrier. This material is not intended for use as a thermal barrier.

Ponding Water:  

Warranties do not cover damage due to ponding water. The National Roofing Contractors Association considers ponding water on any roof unacceptable. (See the NRCA Roofing and Waterproofing Manual). General Properties: 

This product has been formulated to be one of the highest performing elastomeric materials in the market place. High levels of a high performance polymers provide exceptional tensile and elongation properties as well as exceptional adhesion to most materials. This material has the unique ability to provide a membrane that is not only watertight but also breathable, allowing the escape of any trapped moisture vapor from the substrate.
